Monarch Butterfly Tours at the Monarch Butterfly Grove. These beautiful orange and black "fairy-like" creatures begin to appear in late October in California's largest Monarch grove. Thousands cluster in our Eucalyptus trees, giving the appearance of golden leaves. The Monarch butterfly grove is located on Highway 1 just south of the North Pismo State Beach Campground. Celebrate our Nation's Independence with live music, food, military bands, clowns and a Firework Show like no other right from our world famous 1,200 foot Pismo Beach Pier!

* FREE * No cost, but come early for the best spot to open your chair. Sit on the sand beside the Pismo Beach Pier or sit on the new beautiful Promenade where it meets the Pismo Pier.

Year after year business', residences and visitors make generous donations to Pismo's Firework Fund. Without these donations this ongoing tradition would not continue.
